Substitute Bus Driver/Custodian

Job Summary

We will train you to become a School Bus Driver!!

This position is an on call, substitute position and selected candidates will be contacted to
fill vacancies with regular staff is absent.

Tasks include: The primary responsibility will be transporting students in a school bus however the position also includes custodial duties during the non-driving hours. In addition to bus driving capabilities this position requires prior experience with and the ability to perform the following work:

• Public School cleaning and general custodial functions at assigned sites

DESCRIPTION OF BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

To operate a school bus over designated routes for the purpose of transporting students; to supervise and take responsibility for the safety of those students. All members of our staff are part of our learning community and, as such, share responsibility for the education and well-being of our students.
