Job Summary
The Bus Driver plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of students and school groups at St. Margaret’s Episcopal School. Under the direction of the Director of Security and Transportation, the Bus Driver will operate school buses and passenger vans for daily student routes, field trips, athletic events, and other school-related activities. This position requires a high level of responsibility, professionalism, and a commitment to student safety.
Requirements / Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- Valid California Class A or B Driver’s License with passenger endorsement.
- California School Bus Driver Certificate issued by the CHP.
- Current First Aid certification approved by the CHP or American Red Cross.
- Successful completion of an annual medical exam.
- Strong communication, judgment, and safety awareness.
- Ability to interact professionally with students, parents, and Professional Community members.
Preferred
- Previous experience driving school buses or transporting K–12 students. …
