CLASSIFIED SALARY SCHEDULE: RANGE 8 (AIDE II AND RESOURCE)
Basic Function:
Under the immediate supervision of a certificated teacher, principal, and special education coordinator, assists special education teachers, classroom teachers, and other certificated personnel in the supervision of pupils. Also assists in instructional tasks, which may be performed by a person, not licensed as a classroom teacher in categorical programs; performs related work as required. Not responsible for initial planning or instruction.
Representative Duties:
Instructional Aide II:
Assists certificated teachers and related service providers in providing instruction to students with significant physical, learning, social–emotional, and/or medical and health related needs in preschool inclusion and/or K-6th grade educational settings.
