TRILINGUAL DISTRICT TRANSLATOR

(ENGLISH-SPANISH-MIXTEC AND OTHER INDIGENOUS LANGUAGES)

BASIC FUNCTION

Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, perform a variety of complex and responsible oral and written translations; assist supervisor with follow up on administrative or clerical detail; monitor bilingual/trilingual program expenditures.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

Perform a variety of complex oral and written translations in English, Spanish, Mixtec and other indigenous languages including materials of a privileged or sensitive natureE; read and translate written materials including District forms and expulsion notification requiring specific vocabularyE; compile reports and summaries in Spanish, English, Spanish, Mixtec and other indigenous languagesE; perform a variety of clerical duties including typing, proofreading, filing and the recording of data in English, Spanish, Mixtec and other Indigenous LanguagesE; assist supervisor by following up on administrative or clerical detail including contact with members of the educational communityE; maintain a variety of alphabetical, numerical and subject matter files and recordsE; prepare and …
