Job Summary
Under the direction of the Principal, assist a certificated teacher in providing instruction to individuals or small groups of limited or non-English speaking students by translating written materials and oral lectures in a classroom environment; assist in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of lesson plans; serve as an interpreter for parent conferences, meetings and telephone calls; perform routine clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel.
Requirements / Qualifications
Per mutual agreement, a 30 minute to 1-hour lunch may change the start or end time

Qualifications:
- Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and one year experience working with children in an educational or learning environment.
- Incumbents are eligible to advance from Range 15 to Range 16 by passing the Bilingual Examination with a passing rate of 70% or higher. …
