Summary
The Lift Team Technician is responsible for any requests for patient lifts throughout the hospital, including all clinics on campus, in patient rooms, and wherever there is a need.
Job Description
Primary responsibility is to provide safe lifting and transfers of patients requiring more than one person to perform the task. Displays strength in times of stress and disorder in order to meet the needs of the patient. Independently problem solves in order to effectively move a patient, without injuring the patient or the staff. Attends the campus assessment team calls. Gives advice and collaborates with nursing staff for moving patients. Responds quickly and with high efficiency to emergency situations, such as when a patient falls. Provides assistance in moving the patient to safety. Builds rapport with patients and assists with aggressive behavior. …
