Substitute: On Call As Needed
SUPERVISOR
Principal or Assistant Principal, Classroom supervision by Teacher
SUMMARY
Under supervision, to assist and support the teacher by carrying out delegated activities
and assignments in the instructional and clerical duties of the classroom.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATIONAL
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Instructional Aide Certificate
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates preferred
- Applicable NCLB Requirements
PHYSICAL
- Good speech
- Good general health
- Normal vision and hearing
- Tidy appearance
- Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull objects not to exceed 25 pounds
- Ability to stand, stoop, reach, and bend and work from a ladder
- Ability to supervise students outdoors in a variety of weather conditions for
extended periods of time
PERSONAL
- Punctual and demonstrates good attendance
- Dedicated, enthusiastic, patient, understanding and have a genuine interest in
children
- Ability to serve as a role model through appearance, attitude and proper use of
language
- Ability to follow and give clear instructions
