Head Start Associate Teacher "Applicant Pool" (2026-27)

Requirements / Qualifications

Possession of an Associated Teacher Permit or higher; three (3) years of preschool experience and possession of an AA Degree preferred.

Possession of current CPR/First Aid Certificate

• 3 letters of recommendation
• Copies of Permit(s)
• Copy of Transcript(s) - (unofficial are acceptable for application purposes only)

Comments and Other Information

Placement on salary schedule depends on units plus years of experience with appropriate permit.

Hours vary by site. All positions are 8 hours per day.

*If hired, incumbent must provide official transcripts presented in a sealed envelope, verifying degree.
