Groundskeeper (full-time)

Job Summary

The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the appearance, safety, and cleanliness of campus grounds in support of the mission of Village Christian School. Reporting to the Lead Groundskeeper and Assistant Director of Facilities, this position performs routine landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, orderly, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. The Groundskeeper supports campus operations through diligent maintenance, safety awareness, and teamwork.

Requirements / Qualifications

A High School Diploma is preferred. Prior experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or facilities support is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to safely operate landscaping equipment, including mower, edger, trimmer, and blower. Applicants must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing tasks that require bending, reaching, climbing ladders, and prolonged standing. A commitment to modeling Christian character and working cooperatively as part of a team is required.
