Groundskeeper, Lead (full-time)

Job Summary

The Groundskeeper Lead provides hands-on leadership and daily oversight of campus landscaping and grounds maintenance operations. This position supervises the Grounds staff while actively performing landscaping duties to ensure that all green spaces, planter areas, irrigation systems, and exterior campus environments are safe, well-maintained, and visually appealing. The Groundskeeper Lead supports the mission of Village Christian School by maintaining a clean, orderly, and welcoming campus environment while modeling professionalism, teamwork, and Christian character.

Requirements / Qualifications

Formal education is not required; however, prior experience in landscaping, irrigation systems, and grounds maintenance is strongly preferred. Lead or supervisory experience is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in operating landscaping equipment, including mower, edger, trimmer, and blower.
