Job Summary
Help train the next generation of nursing assistants! We are seeking an instructor for in-person theory and clinical classes. The typical morning schedule is three days per week, with theory from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and clinical instruction from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The evening schedule is Monday–Thursday, 5:00–9:00 p.m., with clinical instruction on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Schedules may be adjusted in coordination with skilled nursing facilities. Staff support is available for first-time teachers, along with online curriculum resources. Open until filled.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Must be appropriately qualified to meet CDPH approval as a CNA Instructor:
- 2 years of nursing experience as an RN or LVN
- 1 year of providing care at a Skilled Nursing OR Nursing Facility as an RN or LVN
- 1 year of verifiable teaching experience of adults or DSD certificate
- Must have or be willing to obtain the appropriate teaching credential. …
