Valid CA driver's license required
ABA Certification or RBT Certification within 45 days of hire
CPI Certification within 45 days of hire
First Aid/CPR Certification

Tehachapi Unified School District has vacancies for CLASSIFIED SUBSTITUTES. This position is a not a permanent position and is based on availability.
A Classified Substitute becomes qualified to work multiple positions; however, the district will need substitutes to work primary roles before accepting secondary roles.
Primary roles include:
- Autism Specialist, Mod-Severe, SCIA Paraeducator
- Special Education Para
- School Site Specialist
Secondary roles include:
- Admin Clerk
- After School Para
- Bilingual Para
- Cafeteria Worker
- Campus Supervisor
- Crossing Guard
- Custodian
- Daycare Aide
- Instructional Para
- Noon Supervisor
- Physical Education Aide
- School Secretary
- Transportation Aide
