Job Summary
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, perform duties in support of food service activities for a large self-contained cafeteria or central kitchen including the quality and timeliness of food service preparation and service and the proficient operation of the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:
This is an OPEN recruitment to establish an eligibility list, fill vacancies and hire substitutes. Substitutes work on an as-needed basis to fill in for absent employees. The eligibility list will be used to fill permanent vacancies which may occur during the life of the eligibility list.
Positions in this classification are part-time (20 hours per week), 10 months per year.
The recruitment process will consist of a written and/or performance examination and oral technical interview. Testing may occur on a weekly basis. Qualified applicants will be notified by US mail or email. …
