Job Summary
The job of Instructional Assistant II - Special Education was established for the purpose/s of providing support to the instructional program within assigned classrooms with specific responsibility for assisting in the supervision, behavioral support, care and instruction of special needs students in the general education classroom or in a special education classroom: assisting in implementing plans for instruction; monitoring student behavior during non-classroom time; providing information to appropriate school personnel.
