Job Summary
Provides short-term instructional and behavioral support for students in special education , in our military school, juvenile detention facilities, and behavior intervention classrooms. Follows lesson plans, IEPs, and behavior strategies to maintain a safe, consistent, and supportive environment. Assists students with academic tasks, behavior management, and social-emotional development. Ideal candidates are patient, adaptable, and skilled in working with diverse and high-need student populations.
Requirements / Qualifications
This application for SUBSTITUTE Teacher - TCOE is for the following programs/sites only:
*Severely Handicapped Classrooms throughout Tulare County Schools
*Court/Community Schools
*La Sierra Military Academy
*University Preparatory High School
*Intervention Resource Classrooms
One of the following are required to apply: Valid Substitute Teaching permit, or a valid California Teaching credential AND Countywide Substitute Fingerprint Clearance.
