Requirements / Qualifications
BUS DRIVER TRAINING AVAILABLE
30 Hours of Classroom WILL BE PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE!
Classes are non-paid and are required before beginning the training class.
Applicants will be contacted to attend the classroom and provided with the location, time, and date.
TRAINING CLASSES
Attendees offered to attend the training will be considered permanent status, and will be paid and receive full Medical Benefits paid by the district.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Valid California Class C driver’s license.
The following must be obtained during the probationary period:
Valid Class B license with passenger endorsement, School Bus endorsement, and air brake endorsement.
Valid California Special Driver School Bus Certificate.
Valid First Aid Certificate issued by an authorized agency.
Signing Bonus $2,500
School Bus Trainees completing their Class B licenses for School Bus Driver positions will receive a $2,500 signing bonus in two installments. …
