The critical care transport team includes Critical Care Paramedics, Registered Nurses, and Emergency Medical Technicians – Basic and Advance. This teams provides care and management of patients of all ages and acuity in a mobile environment for interfacility transports. Patient care is determined on patient needs, acuity, assessment, and written/protocol orders under the direction of a medical provider. Our team is dedicated to providing extraordinary care to patients throughout their transport and beyond.
Summary
Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) has the basic knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care and transportation. Function as part of a comprehensive emergency medical services (EMS) response system, under medical oversight. Responsible for the delivery of emergency patient care.
