Classified Substitute Pool – Clerical & Student Support

Job Summary

Wheatland Union High School District is accepting applications to establish and maintain a pool of qualified classified substitutes to provide temporary coverage for clerical and student support positions throughout the District.
Substitute assignments may include Academic Technician, Clerk, Attendance Technician, and other related clerical or student support classifications based on District needs.

Duties will vary depending on the classification being covered and may include providing general clerical and office support; assisting students, parents, staff, and the public; answering phones and assisting visitors; maintaining and filing student records; data entry; assisting with routine attendance-related tasks; preparing and processing forms and documents; copying, filing, and distributing materials; using District computer systems and standard office equipment; and performing other routine support duties associated with the assigned classification.

Substitutes work on an on-call, as-needed basis to provide coverage for regular classified employees. Hours, work schedules, and duties will vary depending on the assignment. …
