Pharmacy Technician Specialist Float - IV-Chemo

Hours of Operation: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday through Friday (no weekends and holidays).

Cancer Care service line - our technicians compound chemotherapy and non-oncology indication IV medications as well. We work in a cleanroom suite environment, and our technicians maintain the whole space including service sampling and cleaning. We also manage a hefty inventory that includes handling hazardous medications.

Pay Range:

$24.10 - $36.15

Job Description

Major Responsibilities:

Completes area-specific work as outlined by standard processes, procedures and adherent to policies

Serves as an expert with equipment and technology in specialized area

Problem solves technical issues in the specialized area as they arise

Ensures documents and records are accurate and completed in a timely fashion

Supports methods of communication and coordination with patients and care team

Identifies quality improvement opportunities based on specialized skill set to ensure safe, effective, and efficient services and patient care

Provides input to and supports implementation of operational changes, advancements, and site and system standardization
