HVAC Maintenance Technician

Major Responsibilities

• Performs HVAC, facility, and equipment maintenance in accordance with applicable codes and standards. Documents preventive maintenance, repairs, and service activities through the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs commercial HVAC and mechanical systems, including air-handling equipment, motors, pumps, fans, boilers, heat exchangers, controls, refrigerators/freezers, and other related equipment.
• Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems to support reliable facility operations and appropriate environmental conditions throughout the hospital.
• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical systems, including building automation/HVAC controls, pneumatic tube systems, plumbing, electrical, piped medical gas systems, specialized water systems, and commercial kitchen equipment within defined parameters. …
