Special Education- Instructional Assistant

Job Summary

32.5 hours per week.
Current vacancy is at Waggoner Elementary School, work location is subject to change.
Position is eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as CalPERS retirement.
District contribution toward medical, dental, and vision.

Under the direction of an assigned supervisor assist a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of special education students in a classroom and/or community environment. Assist teachers with implementing lesson plans and students with completing assignments

Requirements / Qualifications

Equivalent to completion of twelfth grade
Minimum of an Associates Degree or Pass District Proficiency Test
Experience working with young people
