Driver, School Bus - MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE (REPOST)

Job Description / Essential Elements

To transport students to and from school within a designated route(s) and to ensure the safety of the students while passengers in the school vehicle. Employees in this classification receive general supervision from the Transportation Supervisor and within a well-defined framework of standard policies and procedures. Employees in this job class must be capable of driving all types of student transportation vehicles currently utilized by the district to ensure depth of coverage at all times.

Requirements / Qualifications

• CDL-Commercial License class A or B
• DL-51 DMV medical form (Medical Examiners Certificate)
• DL-45 California Special Driver Certificate
• First Aid Card (if restriction on school bus certificate)
• H-6 DMV Information Request (Driving History valid within 30 days)
• T-01 (original copy) Training Certificate
• T-02 (copy) Instructional Documentation

The following is required at HR and confidential (not filed at transportation department)

• Fingerprinting
• Drug & Alcohol Testing
• Request Drug & Alcohol History from prior employer within 30 days
