On Call Paraprofessional-Extensive Support Needs

Job Summary

Under general supervision, perform a variey of functions/activities pertaining to the health care, instruction and training of students with disabilities; perform a variety of routine clerical and supporting activities for instructional and therapy personnel; do other related work as required.

Requirements / Qualifications

Experience:
One year of paid or volunteer experience working with children

Education:
Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade

Training or coursework in child growth and development, special education, instructional technology, or a closely related field desirable and subject areas dealing with severely handicapped

All requirements must be provided at time of application

• CPR/First Aid Certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association )
• Letter of Introduction (Please include your experience qualifying you for this posiiton and your availability to work)
• NCLB Compliance (AA degree or 48 college semester units or passing of the school districts Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) testing. …
